It’s that time of the year

2015“So this is Christmas. And what have you done? Another year over. …” So time for short reflection and 2014 forward looking; isn’t it. It’s that time of the year for all the best wishes. First back to 2013 where, I have to admit, I have been fanatic about figures and data. Big data. That’s why I analysed in 2013 the following key data.

By the end of the year, our 3 cats will have consumed 1,195 tins of Whiskas; with an overwhelming 77% preference for the jelly meat selection. The year to date figure for our consumption of the Lungo Nespresso capsules amounts to 866. The last months, I have cleared 17 bags of leafs from the garden. Due to a system error on our consultant’s cloud, we are unable to confirm the exact amount of autumn leafs. On our current accounts, our banker has been so kind to grant us an average interest rate of 0.014%. In the first 11 months of this year, 489 red painted cars found their way through our street; on average they had 4 tires. That’s excluding the repair tire. 21 Seafood pizzas were enjoyed; on average each decorated with a meagre 6.27 anchovies.

2014 will see a paradigm shift and we’ll be moving from figures to feelings. As:

Not everything that can be counted counts
and not everything that counts can be counted. – A. Einstein.

Hope you’ll join us on that. And so we wish you happiness, friendship, authenticity, tender love, bonfire heart, perseverance, success, engagement and good health. And 100% (Oops!) achievement of your goals.

Cheers to all my family, friends, neighbours and business contacts. And to all the delicious anchovies in the world. Happy 2014!

Herwig

as always – funny and true (at least for the quote part, as for your cat’s consumption etc – my big database did not record that information ;-))
